I enjoyed seeing the Audi 4.2 turbo A4 . Sounded fantastic looked superb.
The meeting was just lacking some of the bigger boys, should be a good season tho!!!

View the misc gallery twice and when you get to Wooleys highland fling sequence for the second time view them really quickly and it seems for all the world like he's doing a dance

Play it in time to "The Strip Tease" music, I bet the effect is pretty disturbing

I was chatting to Keith Murray (the builder of that Audi) at Combe on Monday after he'd won his race in his own Audi. Talk about buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing !!!!

he reckons that Roger is planning on getting it sorted for this year then attempting the Leader's next year. Can''t wait to see that car on certain hills.

The less said about Woolley's Post One dance the better.

I reckon 'New York, New York' rather than the stripper.

The Audi. OOOOoooh. You gotta hear it. Can't begin to describe the fantastic bass rumble. I swear he snatched 4th gear on one run before the first corner.

From a quick perusal of the results on www.hdlcc.com it appears that Brodie Branch would have qualified for both runoffs had he been registered - pretty impressive for a 1 litre car in the dry!

Indeed..........

The runoffs (at least the first one anyway) did seem to be a good mix of cars and we wondered if it had rained and we hadnt noticed (or been asleep)

That boy is scarily quick, as evident at Gurston last year (http://tentenths.com/forum/showpost....1&postcount=1). I'd love to see him in a single seater.

Don't forget that his co driver also was in the 49's only 0.5 sec behind on the 2nd run's.

It should shake up the class a bit.
