Is Joey doing the festival ? If not who will get near to Peter? Ed if he's on form and it's dry may be Gavin or Nev or Mike?

1 Peter D
2 Joey F
3 Ed M
4 Gaivin W
5 Mike E
6 Nev S

Anyone I missed? Is Matt Rivett doing it?

Mega surge in late entries forces another timetable revamp, or Autosport getting it wrong?

The latter I'm afraid. Today's 'National leader' talks about the BRSCC revising the timetable. This revision giving
4 x Zetec heats, 2 x semis, a LCR and the Final
6 x Kent heats, 2 x semis and the Final

I think they counted the qualifying sessions as races by the looks of it...

I have just managed to get my hands on a full days testing for FF1600's on the Thursday but I only really need the afternoon sessions. If anyone is interested in the morning sessions then please let me know.

Something I was just thinking, what time does it get dark when the clocks go forward on Friday. Will the final be in the dark at 1710?

Sunset is around 17.40, so yes - there is a good chance that it will be very dark for the events last each evening (FF1600 qualifying and heats, and FF1800 Final).

I had a look at the 2003 programme earlier, and only 23 races were run then, compared to 32 this year. Events are scheduled to go a lot further into the afternoon than they have been recently.

Wrong on three counts.
1. Clocks go back in the Autumn
"Spring forward and Fall back"
2. Clocks change at 02.00am Sunday mornings, not Fridays.
3. This year the end of British Summertime is the week after the Festival, so light won't be a problem.
