Boro should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I'm surprised no one's mentioned Sear's Point.

That's because should it actually be used, more likely than not it will end up being the Moto/IRL layout (the shortened final hairpin and the left/right 90deg. chicane in the esses (which absolutely kills the esses and the run into the final hairpin).

Now if it was to use the full Sportscar layout.....

Laguna or Sebring would do well for A1GP in the USA.

Sebring would be awesome! I can only imagine those machines on the rolling start bunched up coming in Sunset Curve and just gunning it down that pit straight!

The only thing is that I think the 12 Hours is the only major weekend for Sebring (please correct me if I'm wrong) and with ALMS, Star Mazda and Speed WC, it would be pretty backed up. For A1GP to be a hit here, it's going to have to be tied in with another series' weekend.

I could imagine a A1GP/Atlantics/Speed WC independent weekend, though....

dj4monie is heading for a stewards' enquiry!
Sebring would be a squeeze, just too many things between going on.

Yes A1GP does not have enough following to justify its own weekend here, so they need to tie it in with IRL (not likely), Grand Am (more likely) or ALMS (not lkely if its before May).

Reliable info: A race in the US can/ will happen if a sponsor for about $3.000.000 can be found. They didn't say where though.
