I'm sure they'll have learned from the reaction to the GM V6TT, that it would not be a good idea.

I think the catagory will most likely head off on a different trajectory to what the new car trends are doing. With or without the help of manufacturers.

So will Ludo stay on Scotty's car, or be taken to develop the Mustang, if all this is true?

Wouldn't be beautiful if we could just transition from Falcon/Commodore to Mustang/Camaro and leave everything else alone.

A different engine doesn't make sense since they would have to fund the development themselves and they already meet the performance limits imposed by the regs with the current donk.

I cant see it being any different than the current motor.

Big money to change motors, lots of work. No real gain or benefit.

Unless Ford are about to hit the Australian market in a big way with its V6TT then maybe it can be a marketing cost

Noon’s just commented on his site saying the Stang is coming!

And the story is true and Ford will assist!

but truthfully this is, assuming its correct, what the series needed.

Its a bit of unknown place, so this helps with the future. will take it to the end of the current media deal at least

What the series needs is a Fast Ford (Mustang) a GTR Nissan 2 Door and Aussie Holden v8 Commodore

Wishful thinking

It's good, Ford Australia (for whatever reason) deciding to specifically target the enthusiast (or "bogan" / Mighty Car Mods choo-choo ) market specifically with a Ford Performance brand --- for which Supercars racing is a perfect fit. Good stuff.

What a day! Ludo to do a lot of the work behind the new car, a V8, a joint program between Ford Performance, Tickford and Prodrive.
