Can we assume the remainder are pay drivers??

If so, I wonder how much they have to bring to the party in order to race...

Are you sure Montoyas salary is correct? I was under the impression he was on $6 million and that is why it was speculated that he signed for McLaren for the money. I'm sure i've read again and again about the huge salary gap between the two Williams drivers.

I have some doubts about Barrichello's wage. From what the italian papers said at the time of the recent contract renewal, sthe numbers should be round 10 millions.

Yeah, Rubens recently got a decent wage rise, should be around 10-12 million now.

It's all speculation, of course.

No-one knows but the drivers and teams themselves.

Yup, I also have some doubts about this list salaries. And, it's all speculation. But, this speculation come from Business F1. So, maybe, they know something that we don't know.

I think that making a list of drivers actual salaries is basically impossible. A contract is a very confidential.

1200Datto27 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
It also shows who is grossly overpaid. I think that positions numbered 2, 5, and 7 are paid at least twice as much as they are worth.

JPM is on no where near that. He's had the same contract since he joined in 2001 and I seriously doubt FW would have shelled out 12mil on a quick but unproven south American. Barrichello must also earn way more than that.

The list is in US dollars.

Villeneuve was second with $18 million last year. The difference between him and Ralf is $4 million, but more importantly, one world title!

I am quite surprised to see Ferrari paying a paltry sum (at least in f1 layman's term) to Rubens. Even a Renault or a Toyota would probably pay him more than this. This is not worth all the humiliation that Rubens has gotten at Ferrari all those years. Alright, if ferrari were paying him 10 million.. I would've understood. But a lapdog at 5.5 million?? I have no idea wh Rubens is doing this to himself.
