Looks like those colours should be on a GP2 Escort.
But yes to the 908/3 flunder . We dont see many down this way, not since the Porsche Museum came to PI in force for an anniversary of some sort back in 2008. They bought many beauties that year including the Sunoco 917. Actually they seem to bring something most years now.

That would be good. Looks great in the Martini livery.

Do like the Toblerone 908 .

Just looking at Legends grid. Will be interesting to see if the Peugeot laps the whole field. Everything else is older GT cars . Love to know the top speeds it will reach on the Mistral.

Will be looking at time with interest.

Looking at Final entry list .

CER 1 has 2 512, 3 917s along with 2 Alfas

Interesting to see that this event gets better grids than Spa.Nearly as good quality wise as Le Mans Classic.

Very very envious .

Probably the third biggest historic event behind Spa 6 Hrs and Silverstone Classic but best in Quality.

Something about Paul Ricard

Two things- the event is in S of France, and a high proportion of PA customers are French.

Second, as mentioned before, it’s LMC next year and a lot of owners will be hoping for an entry to that. One way is to make sure you’re on PA’s radar.....

Fully agreed about the connection between the last events of 2019 and LMC. As to the majority of customers being French just imagine removing all the foreign entries during one year of races…*The paddock would be clear I guess…
Talking about paddock, prepare yourself to a moment, the place is gonna be busy like no other! May be you'll find more space because at 3 PM today, Jean Marc and his E Type was still waiting at the shuttle and a well known 'Vette is still waiting for its engine!

Dunno about what your Beeb says but here weather forecast gives something like rain, rain and rain between showers! Keep your umbrella busy.

Mike if you like to meet someone looking unsafe, just shake Jean Marc's hand! Story: during Tour Auto he wrecked his E Type hitting a wall at Charade, in the wet. During the race, the engine was already badly damaged, head, pistons…
His nice car is just rebuilt with the kind of invoices you can imagine. No time for shake down. At now the rain… again!

Well at least at Ricard you have to be a lot further off the track to hit anything, Gerard! Must be one of the safer locations to get your confidence back, but hope the engine has been run-in on a dyno before tackling the Mistral straight .....

The BBC forecast shows dry today and tomorrow, then thunder showers Friday and Saturday, with possibly dry Sunday. As long as no monsoons.....

Yes Mike, few showers announced now everyday. Safe location for sure depending on how you drive on the f……ng painted lanes just outside the kerbs. If you dont turn the wheels, its OK. As to the chicane, you've better be careful…
I guess the engine has been run-in on the rolling road. Very serious job, Made in the UK. Cant believe I'm back on the entry list!!!

Some more Froggies have landed. Big discussion about fuel strategy and rear antiroll bars…*Seems a hassle to disconnect during a race. Do you confirm that Mike?

Phew, at last Jean Marc admitted he could test without the rear anti roll bar. Born in Britany, Bretagne, he's quite a tough nut!!

Trying to help a bloke. His car is really a good one but sometimes he's a pain in the neck with suspension settings. In addition he thinks that what his preparers says is gospel… French driver English preparer!
