Anchorage Street Circuit
I haven´t posted anything for a long time, but after I did this track I just knew that I need to post it. So, here it is. It is a total of 6.5km of fast and flowing roads around Lake Hood, next to the Anchorage International Airport. Pits and paddock would be located on that open space between the track and that small airstrip. Some roads would be very narrow, but in almost everyone of those roads, there is no restrictions for widening them. Also there is a possibility for building a decent sized runoff area. Around the track, there is quite a lot of open area where temporary stands could be built. I originally designed the track to be anti-clockwise, but I think that it could be ran in both directions.

It's nice for a street circuit. Quite flowing although perhaps one too many chicanes

I must admit that the chicane I circled with light blue on the map is unnecessary, but I think that the other chicanes are necessary. Without the one I circled with green, there would be a nearly 1.5km flatout run to a fast corner with just a little runoff. Without the one I circled with yellow, there would be a 700m long flatout run to a tight 90 degree corner with no runoff at all. It could be ran without those chicanes, but it would be very dangerous. Other chicanes are due to the road configuration.

Absolutely bloody brilliant!
 Very Albert Park-esque. Yeah, I'd remove the chicane just after the yellow circle and the blue one, but other than that, spot on!  Funny you should mention Anchorage. They actually hold a bunch of street races there every February. Late Models, Trucks, Legends, road going sedans, the lot. That looks pretty good, Iceman. I'd make some changes, though, and perhaps add some pieces of tarmac just to avoid making it too 90-degrees in some places. I might have a go later on.
