The art of the burnout
Burnouts seem to have a strange appeal, no doubt enhanced by the mind altering toxic fumes coming from the tyre smoke, lol.

I remember sitting in a bar in Vendome enjoying a calvados (or three) on the Friday night before a Le Mans in the early 90s, while some retard burnt out the rear tyre on 'his' motorcyle. Everyone just seemed happy to watch politely while the engine screamed and the acrid smoke blew everywhere.....
In the morning, the rather second-hand bike was still there. The young man had gone. I suspect he was assisting the local gendarmerie with their enquiries....... |
