ATF should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Knockhill BSB

Scott Smart took victory in race 1 from James Haydon and Yukio Kagayama.
And in race 2, James Haydon won the first race for Yamaha since Steve Plater in 2002! Even though Steve Plater was supposed to be back this time, but good for Haydon!

Sounds like exciting and unpredictable stuff and just goes to show Haydon deserves a SBK ride!! And it means ALL 5 manufacturers in BSB have won a race in 2004! I'm sure that hasn't happened for a while!

And it was bloody soaking. I could give ya proof but my jeans can't type...

Just been watching the "as live" replay on Sky there, you just don't realise how much the bikes skip around under braking for Taylor's hairpin. Pretty hairy!!

And I hope Knockhill doesn't come under fire for all this drainage carry on. It's been raining basically all week up here, so when you get a shower like that it's bound to flood.

I think with all that rain the circuit staff should be commended for all their hard work in getting it in a fit state to race in the first place.

Well Done Knockhill

Well done everybody. The standard of racing was incredible, and the action virtually unabated. I feel sorry for anyone who was sat at home watching the parade from Magny-Bore. James Haydon is unlucky to be out of a full-time ride.

Considering how he's ridden injured, and Rutter's recent problems, I cna see JR taking a final title comparatively easily. Emmett could be the main challener as the year goes on

Last weekend really was a cracker! Wasnt actually at the track but I had the next best thing - Sky. Have to say that really and truly the organisers did everything that could have been expected from them to make sure tings went smoothly, as has already been pointed out it had been raining in Scotland all week. (when dosent it?!? )

A great couple of races, too bad the Supersports were called off though would have been a very exciting race as always Id imagine. Great to Haydon taking his first win of the year, and congratulations also to Scott Smart. Hmm 5 Manufacturers winning in 2004 BSB, has this happened in WSBK since the millenium in any one single year?

Have to give a big shout out for John McGuinness too, no ride this year yet first time out on Kawasaki gets a podium finish and was running 2nd place at Knockhill until he slid off at the hairpin. Hailstone ( the size of marbles), thunder, total downpour, major floods yet Knockhill managed to keep the racing going, well done to all.

Just on with updating website, so if you'd like to see some photos from Knockhill www.moto-photos.co.uk

Yes, and that's the only other time I can think of in ANY bike racing series that every manufacturer won a race. Damn, WSBK has really gone downhill since then hasn't it?

Yes, but the question is, if it was something other than the World Ducati Superbike title, would it be better?

in the 2004 australian superbike championship, 3 of the 4 manufacturers have won races , suprisingly suzuki who have won the last 4 titles have yet to win this year

be great if ducati's raced down under

Some serious competition from Kawasaki or Suzuki (and an extra Honda or 2) would really make the WSBK championship interesting! There are only 1 or 2 Dukes in the highly competitive BSB and AMA series so you wonder if some of the WSBK teams should swap from Dukes???
