I was making a valid point that for whatever reason one driver can make a difference over his team mate. Whether it upsets you to hear it or not, had their been 2 Mark Webbers in the Red Bull this year, by that i mean 2 drivers who can't make their tyres last then Jenson would most likely have been Champion this year, that's the difference i'm trying to point out. |

Not to go too far off topic (or even further already )
Shockingly honest admission from Mark (as usual) Quote:

Where was DiResta this weekend? Behind Sutil. He may be 'new' but it's his 2nd year. I don't see what the big fuss is over him being kept over Sutil. I think it's Mercedes engine deal putting him there. I'm not saying he's lackluster, but neither is Sutil. I think he's as good as Rosberg, and we see how he's beating Shumacher. Next year I hope Mercedes is more competitive and we'll see how much influence Michael has in the car and what it can do. As for Hulk Sutil and DiResta, I hope Sutil keeps his drive, if not it's a shame.

It was implied... It's more your general, sarcastic, indirect and passive aggressive tone whenever you post about Mark...

Suggesting he doesn't have a good excuse now... Well, they may not be excuses, but there are good reasons for where Mark finds himself this season - hence my outlining those reasons... Quote:
Love you, V... Back OT... Why wouldn't Vijay just keep di Resta and Sutil? I don't see the major need to shake things up... |

Mac, i didn't imply that Mark hasn't done his bit this season, that's your take on it. I was merely suggesting that for whatever reason (yes i've used it again), not to disassociate myself from anything, more of a, i don't know the reason, other than tyres maybe, or maybe he's just not fast enough anymore.
Saturday was a prime example, Lewis was in the pound seat all weekend, until Seb managed to pip him in qualifying. Seb manages to dig deeper (and we can't blame tyres here because they were both on fresh softs) than Mark. That's not a slur on Mark, just fact. |

And these days rookies really are rookies. None of that pounding around various race tracks pre-season like some lucky buggers got to do.

Surely if they were that good, then rookies would be in there all winter |
