Endurance races are the biggest thing down here in Australia, and im sure all of the teams and drivers that came down to Bathurst in 97/98 loved them too (except for the distance). We haven't seen a long distance race in a fairr while have we? Couldnt they run all of the Super tourers/class 2 whatever else in a big race around Silverstoen or Donnington?
It would never be Bathurst, but do you think it would help out the current situation with numbers if the give the competitors something big to get interested in (if you get my drift)? |
