My damage restricted to bent mirror arm and paint scuffing on front panel, fortunately, but I still can’t get over his reasoning that it ‘was my fault’....

Modern culture Mike unfortunately. Nothing is 'their' fault, it's always someone else's...

Yes but the very bad thing is that, after several "meetings" of this kind, your vehicle is partially wrecked and you have to support the damages with your own money. Unfair. How people supposed to be professional truckers can't imagine another vehicle behind them when queuing is beyond my comprehension.

Rant time . For goodness sake it’s the 1 st of November and there are Christmas ads on TV . I’m watching Wheeler Dealers . They are renovating an old Rover . The guys are good .

There is a dealer of "previously enjoyed" cars near to my office and I noticed him on a Wheeler Dealers episode selling Mike Brewer a 6-Series BMW. When I asked him about it afterwards he said he did it as a favour as MB was a mate.

I’ve been reading a bit about the annual SEMA Tuning show in the USA, which has just been held again. Some fantastic stuff, and quite a lot of it from the mainstream manufacturers. Definitely more interesting to me than that UK show in January.....
