Marcus For Galway International
"M-Sport’s Malcolm Wilson has confirmed the entry of Marcus Gronholm to the Galway International Rally 2007."
Best news I've heard all year Obviously wants to get the jump on Seb. Can't see any of the Irish lads giving him a real run for his money, but hopefully they can give a good account of themselves. |

It'll certainly be interesting to see how he stacks up against the locals, I would expect them to be pushing extra hard to try and beat him

this great news and a real boon for Irish rallying which lets face it is in far better health than rallying in our country!!
Great for Marcus to have a crack at the event and I think someone like Eugene wont be too far away, but can he beat him! I dont think so! |

Gronholm had a puncture though. Nevertheless it's great what Donnelly is doing so far. I wonder how much Marcus is pushing.

Eugenes car understeered off into a ditch on the last stage & got stuck..!
It's been one heck of a battle between Donnelly & Gronholm, i bet Subaru are kicking them selves as they couldn't get the car to run like that last year. |

Was down on saturday, the pace of the front five was unbeliveable. Donnelly and Marcus were just right on the edge for the whole weekend. I for one was one who thought that Marcus would blow everyone away. But I am more than happy to be proved wrong !! I was gutted when I heard that he had binned it. I think the Genie's legendary status is now comfirmed.
The only thing I would add is that Loeb on tarmac is a far different prospect to Marcus. |

It was a great rally. A bit disappointed for Donnelly but he showed how good his, even with his first rally in the new car. Rally Ireland will be great.

I don't want to take away both Gronholm & Donnellys glory but i think the best drive of the week-end goes to Mark Higgins, after hitting a rock on SS1 ending up in 11th place & to battle his way back up to finish 3rd in a car that he wasn't comfortable with, I just wonder where he would have finished if he hadn't hit that rock..!
