question about design

Hi I'm a graphic designer and I'm trying to get more work involved in the motorsport area such as car livery, merchandise flyers, posters ect.. Does anyone know of who could be approached or what would be my best way of becoming involved? I have done work for a v8supercar team and that was great, just looking to get more involved now..
