Will be there, but not sure If I'm camping yet. JUst look for the worlds most dented car. That'll be Plato's, but mine shouldn't be far away!

Alan and I will be there. Obviously not camping though (we live in Silverstone), but we might wonder down to The White Horse saturday night.

Wouldn't worry yet JLD, I haven't had passes yet. I don't think there are many meetings these days that don't need every orange body they can get, just see the number of appeals at the top of the page.

I will be there but not camping, I can almost walk home from there!

We received our passes last week, perhaps you could check with BARC and make sure you are on the list.

Best pack the waterproofs again folks, it looks like it might be another soggy weekend. The forecast at the moment looks like varying degrees of rain on both days...

I've got my passes for it. I've not marshalled at Silverstone before though, so I don't know where to park, where to sign on, etc. Can you advise me please?

Thanks

Phill

usse main entrance go straight on over the bridge again straight at the roundabout and over the next bridge, left at the bottom and into the car park on your right headding for the Paddock Bar for sign on. You'll get stoped on the way but just tell them your marshalling, it worked for me the other week on my first go. Was going this week but now car'nt, poorly car
enjoy paul

Still no passes!

Spoke to Karen at BARC this morning, seems they were posted but have gone missing. I'm not the only one.

Suggest anyone who hasn't received passes phones Karen on 01264 882210 or emails her kcoddington@barc.net

Tickets and instructions arrived this morning (good job I can only do tomorrow!!).

No mention of parking. Do I take it that this is as I've done before and park inside the circuit, near the paddock diner.

This seems to have slipped down very quickly.
Not one for going to this kind of meeting usualy I went as I had a spare ticket.
Must say had a good time watching all the action, saw lots of crashes and spins anything happen that I missed? And when does it go on telly as I fancy watching the whole event.

It will be on Speed Sunday this Sunday (16th May). I was there but seemed to watch from the corners where nothing happened or it happened once I was gone. The guys at Copse certainly had a fair bit to do on Sunday!!

Copse fairly quiet on Sunday - only did one snatch all day!!! Then again Saturday`s Clio race ws manic........ Good Racing throughout though, shame spectator and marshal numbers have dropped off for BTCC - looks a fairly decent series with decent support races now.

Spectator numbers definitly down but if you saw the mass of orange and black overalls rushing to move the F BMW's at Abbey then it looks like marshals are still interested.

We were hardly over blessed on Copse, had enough to cope but certainly not numbers of marshals we were seeing 5 or 6 years ago. Then again bit of a lottery with two seperate signing on systems going on as to numbers on each post I guess.
