Kyle beat out Denny and Kyle yesterday.

If you missed it and I think you missed what NASCAR used to be. That track made for some great side by side racing on a pure oval. I used to not like flat track racing for NASCAR much but I've since changed....

The brake failures were a little scary; pretty high speeds towards the end of the straights with no where to go... Thank goodness for soft walls are there one be couple not racing for a few weeks.

Should be interesting. Heard Mike Rockenfeller on RLM today talking about how difficult it is, knowing that he's a quick road racer, to be competitive against the full time NASCAR guys.

Just caught up and saw today, I enjoyed it a lot.

I'm guessing those failed brake parts are a common part for several cars to have the same issue? Scary, would not want that at the speeds these things go. Bad manufacture or underspecced parts or bad setup or what?

I think Kamui is a good driver, he's a fairly small man like most Japanese so I feel hustling a big NASCAR car around is going to be hard work for him: kudos for trying it out and good luck to him!

Nascar uses power steering since the 1980s, so that should be no problem.

Think the speed difference between straight and corner put a good deal strain on the brakes and maybe some didn't manage it well.

And on that note, Noah Gragson has to sit out from Sonoma due to concussion like symptoms...
