That would help, tires warm faster on Toyota and softer. Gotta expect the 7 to get around the 50 on the restart

Good spot. Wouldn’t normally expect softs in the day (I don’t think they even qualify on them), but with it being a bit wet they are using them a little like the old inters.

belt driven has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I don't know how much (if any) wet practice there was; but is a reserve F1 driver the wisest choice for a large displacement V8 powered car?

Idea is nice, execution seems to be poor

The reasoning on ES seems poor, it doesn't matter where an LMP2 is. Either way it would be caught up, just let LMP2 go forward rather than backwards and then forward again

One lap later we're watching the LMP2s go back around the line, just keep them in front and move THEM forward. IMSA can figure it out in less distance than this and they can make it look deficient in planning at times

No, I actually think this procedure is better than before. It doesn't ruin the race as before, but it's a change and change is hard.



It doesn't work that slow, though.
