Medium compound tyre 45 min race....
1050kg with diver front wheel drive fiesta
Wheel and tyre size 7x15 - 225/50/15 must be from msa list 1a or 1b Would a medium compound tyre survive a 45 minuet race and still be competitive? Or perhaps hard fronts and medium rears? Have run 888's, Fedral RSR and kumho v70a... Happy with kumho's and they come in all compounds... Anyone with any experience closely related to the above? Cheers Ben. |

I've run Yoko 048s for 40 minutes (medium compound I *think* - possibly even soft) on a 900kg car with no real problems. 888s are similar I believe.
Anything in list 1a or 1b is going to last almost a season of normal sprint races, so you should not have a problem at all. |
