Oh no. What awful awful horrible news.

He loved his rallying and his joy and enthusiasm was plain to see, even just a few weeks ago in the Swedish rally.

I am so sad to hear this.

Terrible news, Breen, who competed for Hyundai, had been taking part in a pre-test event in Croatia ahead of the latest round of the world championship.

His car is thought to have gone off the road and collided with a pole on Thursday while he was preparing for his second rally of the season next week, according to reports. RIP Craig

Its terrible to read this. He seemed to be such a nice guy, nobody had a bad word to say about him. Really good driver too who had a massive addiction for rallying. Even in his "off" weekends from his WRC drives he would be driving historic cars, national events, he just couldn't get enough.

Im really shocked, you see some of the accidents these WRC cars withstand you almost get lulled into a false sense of security.

Gutted. I (briefly) chatted to Craig at a track day in 2017 and have seen him action a number of times before and afterwards. He always seemed really grounded and in love with rally at all levels. It is sad to see any driver lose his life, but especially so in this case.

Massive loss to rally and a reminder that, even in the modern age, rally is still a dangerous sport.

Shocked and saddened when I saw this news yesterday. Still finding it hard to take in today. We already lost Ken Block a few months ago. Now Craig's gone when he seemed to be at his peak

A great talent, who had reasonable success in various levels of rally and still had many years of rallying ahead of him. Now his death leaves a void. He will be missed. What a great guy.
