alesi95 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
moto gp 3

am i doing something hideously wrong? Although i can race comfortably in the top 12 in hard mode I can get within 3 seconds of the slowest rider in qualifying!

Anyone else got this prob'? How do i get my act together?

Oh I know exactly what you mean. Adjusting the bike settings helps a bit but it's almost impossible to qualify off the back. I took to playing in medium, but handicapping my bike for the race so it was as difficult as the hard mode.

I have that problem as well, of qualifying badly but racing better.

I also have the problem generally of a lack grip, especially at the front end, this is more of a case with the 4 stroke bikes.

I find that the best handling bike is the Red Bull Yamaha YZR-500, I'm on normal difficulty and have placed 9th at Suzuka and 8th at Mugello, retired at the other races up to then, the worst retirement being at Jerez when I fell at the last corner on the last lap trying to pass Checa.

Anyway's is there any tips that anyone can give to improve grip? like Braking technique, Set up etc.

PS At the moment i'm having to ride like Mccoy to get anywhere.

I'm starting to get somewhere now, In my first season at hard level on the Aprillia RS3 I finished the season 7th in the points.
For my second season i'm on the Gresini Team Honda NSR500 and i'm fourth in the series so far, ahead of my my team-mate, the late Dajiro Kato on his RC211V Honda, my best qualifying position in hard is 7th at the Sachsenring, with best finishes of 4th being in Donington, Mugello and Valencia.

Alesi95, you're right, this game rocks!
