It is just a shame that they haven't been allowed tu run at SPa.
If By Kolles can rent it for next season, for sure, they will make some progress ! |

Fjordbach is Danish, but AFAIK he lives in Spain and the entire HighClass Racing is run from there, too (based at Barcelona, I think) |

Signs are encouraging, let’s hope it’s all worth it if it does enter the series

Correct - Anders lives in Barcelona - this was for a piece on DSC as an independent driver - the weather didn't co-operate!

So I think Ginetta was in progress but as the team TRSM was not able to get the money the whole thing was reduced or dropped. |

I'd quite like to be optimistic, but almost 1 year ago to the day, Ginetta tested at the same circuit and they were "7 tenths off Toyota" and from this were aiming for 3:14 at Le Mans.

Kolles only run chassis of their own (after R10 days, anyway), that's their entire agenda |

I think these cars could fit to JC Racing. Why, because they have money, and to not repeat the drivers departure that they suffered to Rebellion and other teams. With a P1 they could offer a step to the main class. If they can run four P2, why not a P1?

Maybe because the chassis has only one year left
And 1-2 more with crap bop to ensure OEM hypercar domination and cruise speed 3:30 LM lap time And they can't run it in ELMS or ASLMS because of ACO stubborness |

Do you think there will be hypercars in 2020/2021? I don't think so.

How many Ginetta LMP1 chassis have been made in the end? The two Manor chassis only?

Yes, just the two we know about, but according to GG, they have enough spares to build a third. Are you thinking of buying one Mr J? I'll volunteer my services as PR Officer, you might need one...

I guess they won’t need the spare now. I like the idea of a ten tenths team, could work, if you give it a good go

Hindsight is a great thing, but Ginetta really needed to put their own money in this to make sure the car hit the ground running. They didn't, it didn't, and now nobody wants to run it. First impression can only be made once.

I suspect that if they had known how insecure the Manor funding was going to turn out to be, they might well have done. I don't know whether they could have grabbed the cars back at the first sniff of money problems....

On the TV graphics they just showed the standings for LMP1 championships and TRSM was listed there, but they had forgotten Dragonspeed entirely well good for Ginetta to get to the 5th place right behind Kolles, without actually racing for a year

Well isn’t that great? You don’t have to turn a wheel to get points! Seriously I hope we see Ginetta back in the championship soon enough

For Ginetta overall it is probably best they didn’t! Yes, the LM effort would have had more chance of success, but the risk to Ginetta would have been (too) much higher.

Well I think they would prefer to do it low key. Low risk for high reward, otherwise it would look silly if they put all their effort and money behind it for nothing
