I wouldn't be surprised to see him signed in some role @ spyker F1 in a year or 2.

Gr-8 industries (or something like that) is the official sponsor-agent for SpykerF1. They just setup GR-8 china, with an office in china to find sponsors. And Tung is signed by Gr-8 to be represented by them. 1 +1 = ?

For now it seems like a1gp and some junior formula.

i do not really understand what would be the interest for him to race one more season in F3 , he is already german F3 champion then would be more logical to step up

German F3 Cup Champ, this championship is nowhere near F3 Euroseries nor BF3. Let he prove himself in one of these two series, or other proved championship.

Front end of German Recaro cup last year was very strong, even if only small number of drivers on pace. They will all be good on next level.

I beleive that the level of competition of a championship is about the many different potential winners in a race. Therefore BF/ and EUROF3 are not competitive to my eyes. Why ? In EUROF3 It is almost always a ASM car that wins. In BF3 Double R or Carlin. In the German F3 anything goes.

Yelmer Buurman had two wins in British F3 last year driving for Fortec Motorsport. So far this season Marko Asmer has been setting the pace in pre-season testing for Hitech Racing and there could well be 30 cars on the grid or the first race. It'll be competitive.

I doubt it. Alot of gamesmanship goes on in pre-season F3 tests. The 2007 tyre is much slower than the 2006 compound for example, but certain teams still think it's worth running on the '06 rubber in testing - why? The actual compound may still be altered before the 1st race so recent testing performances are meaningless. Come the championship proper then RR and Carlin will still be the teams to beat.

not impossible but not easy as well... as far as i know he never drove a GP2 car so he would have to go straight to Bahrein... looks a bit difficult to me , IMHO the best choice for BCN would be to find a driver who has some mileage in the car already Lopez,Piccione...

Yesterday, Ho Pin-Tung was confirmed at BCN.
Will BCN cars have their wings painted in yellow now?

Meanwhile, Risatti is in negotiations for a WSR seat, and López tested the Honda TC2000 car for the first time. It's not easy being Argie...

To be honest, if I was an aspiring driver I'd rather spend a year in WSR than racing for BCN. The teams in WSR are much more equal, and he'd have a good chance of getting a driver at least capable of podiums, maybe even a win. Racing for BCN, Schumacher would probably struggle to make an impact.

I know what you're saying but I'm not so sure Sev. FR 3.5 is an excellent series and potentially good for sponsors but is such a lottery. There's perhaps more chance of pulling off the odd good result at BCN in his first season in GP2 rather than running the risk of getting bogged down in FR3.5. I mean look at Kane, Hanley, Kerr and McIntosh -all half decent pedallers who struggled to regularly get good results last year, only Hanley's survived by the looks of it?

With GP2 it's unlikely that talents will be left struggling in teams not performing.

I just hope he doesn't finish too far down the order every race. It seems he has not done any testing at all. Being unprepared is the worst way to start a championship. I hope he at least beat fellow Asian Karun Chandhok...
