9/30/10 British Racing Group/ Girlracer™ High Performance Driving School at Lime Rock

Hi everyone!

I wanted to make sure everyone here was aware of an upcoming event at Lime Rock Park. British Racing Group (BRG) has joined forces with Girlracer™ to create a new series of events aimed at promoting women as automotive enthusiasts and motorsport participants. The first event is coming up on September 30th. It is a specially modified curriculum of the famous Skip Barber High Performance Driving School. It is being produced by Skip Barber so you know that you will be receiving the absolute best instruction available. The day includes the use of the Skip Barber High Performance Fleet including, Porsche (Carrera and Cayman), Lotus (Elise and Exige), Lexus IS-f, BMW M3 and Mazda RX-8. The entire event is being produced by Skip Barber Racing School. Breakfast and Lunch are included.

This is a private, women's only event. It is not being offered through the retail division of Skip Barber. British Racing Group is the event host. BRG already has received registrations from as far away as New Mexico, Maryland, California and Texas.

Men are welcome to attend as spectators. A bunch of us husbands will be hanging around during the day.

It's a great opportunity to get out and experience the best instruction, by the best driving school at the historic Lime Rock Park during the regions most picturesque time of year.

Skip Barber offers the High Performance Driving School at $1,800 per day. British Racing Group has bought down the price to only $750 per person through 9/7/10. After that date, the price will jump up to the regular rates.

BRG has extended the sale price a few extra days to fill up the last slots. This event makes a great gift to girlfriends/ spouses.

A men's run group has been now added. It will be totally separate from the women. I think there are about 2-3 open slots available for the ladies.

BRG only has 10 spots available. You can utilize the same link above to register. I'm already signed up and totally psyched!

Ive gotten some PMs about the schedule of the event......

The day is going to start with some class room instruction and breakfast. We then head out and separate into smaller groups to practically apply the concepts of the classroom. There are 2 small courses, a autocross and skid pad. After we complete those exercises we will have lunch (again, provided) and then Skip Barber has scheduled a special "event" that will combine all the skills.

FYI, there are about 3-4 spaces left.
