M-Kart should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ok, so after a couple of seasons off, 101 Racing is returning to the V8 Supercar Fantasy Championship! It's been a pretty last-minute decision - so we haven't got a sponsor yet. In fact we've just managed to scrape together 3 cars to use, running numbers 101, 202 and 303! These will be driven by James Moffat ($700,000), Dean Fiore ($500,000) and Steve Owen ($700,000) - all 3 totalling $1,900,000.

NAME: 101 Racing
SPONSORS: TBA!
DRIVERS:
#101 James Moffat
#202 Dean Fiore
#303 Steve Owen
MANUFACTURER: Ford

Shogun Autosport a very excited to announce 6 major signings for our reborn team, firstly let me express my sincere thanks to the team for sticking with us through these turbulent times and I believe we have come through strong and determined to succeed.

Firstly it is my great pleasure to announce Mars and there Chocolate Almond Bar as the naming rights sponsor of our #71 FG for 2012, they came to us early as a minor backer but with the withdrawal of Sir Richard Branson and his money, have stepped up to be naming rights sponsor.

Driving the #71 in 2012 is James Courtney who joins us for the 2012 season after a rough season last year he showed great enthusiasm in wanted to help us rebuild and succed.

Secondly, we have signed Qatar Airways as major sponsor and traveling partner for the #72 FG, As a major competitor to virgin Airways we were very pleased that they saw our situation and the exposure given through our championship and decided that it was worth there while to invest in our team.

Driving the #72 we are very pleased to announce the arrival of David Reynolds, a talented driver bringing a lot of excitement and enthusiasm to our team in 2012.

Lastly but no less important we are pleased to announce the signing of Kingsford Match light to sponsor the #73 FG for the 2012 season. A well known American product, Kingsford has had an association with ex pat Marcos Ambrose and saw the value in an association with a V8 Supercar team such as ours.

Driving the #73 in 2012 is Karl Reindler who joins us for the first time as Shogan Autosports invests in our future and expands into a 3 car team.

There is nothing but excitement in the factory at the moment and we feel 2012 is going to be a much better year for our team and major partners Mars, Qatar Airways and Kingsford along with minor partners Castrol, Snap on tools and House of Kolor.

Liveries to be released soon

Flipside motorsports is pleased to announce it will continue on in V8 Fantasy Championship Series for its second assault on the Title. 3 podiums and a 4th place in the first 5 rounds of 2011 were sadly not backed up through the mid and end of season resulting in a dissapointing debut, 19th in the standings for the new team,

For 2012, the team has aquired a pair of FPR built Ford Falcon FG01's, and has retained Jason Bright who will continue to peddle the #8 machine.

Sadly for financial reasons, both Fabian Coulthard and perhaps surprisingly David Reynolds have been released by the team, as they reduce to a 2 car effort for 2012.

The Team are proud to annouce the Driver for the second Falcon will be Lee Holdsworth piloting the number 88 machine

Sponsorship from Visit Suffolk.org, Bernard Matthews and Green King has been retained, alongside further backing from Flavours and Fragrances giant IFF and Martins Newagents

Name: Flipside Motorsports
Sponsors: Visit Suffolk.org, Bernard Matthews, Greene King, IFF and Martins Newagents
Drivers:
  • #8: Jason Bright (£900k)
  • #88: Lee Holdsworth (£1m)
  • Car: FPR Engineered Ford Falcon FG01

Drug Squad Racing returns for 2012

After returning a negative swab last season, the team is back!

Messrs Reynolds, Reindler and Courtney will don the white coats and dispense a beating to the rest of the field in a Viagra-sponsored Ford.

Tourer, by my count Lowndes ($1.4M) + Owen ($700k) = Disqualified ($2.1M). The extra $100k would be better spent on a new accountant
