Hint hint the second Dragon-Image seat alongside Perkins in the #98 Holden.

If they finally get it over the line... I'd heard some rumblings about it as far back as post Sandown/pre Bathurst last year, along with further rumblings in other camps where lease/prep deal proposals were very shakey and uncertain.

It is thought that if she didn't snare the second MWM Nissan, that there is a strong chance she won't be alongside SdS this year.

From the rumours I've heard would anyone want a list of how the grid may look like at Clipsal? If you don't want it please be honest

Show us a look, I'll be interested. Most of us would I'd say or otherwise no one would be reading here or shouldn't be reading a silly season forum which is designed to have rumours if they have an issue

peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
go on

just put a some sort of italic or highlight next to the ones that are rumours and ones which are facts.

20 days to go reckon we need some sort of entry list

Given she has had two years of Supercar experience, surely the seat that Simona is in was originally tailor made for Gracie..... one hopes the results start flowing this year

Everyone else has gone quiet.
- Nothing from Ms Gracie. For some who's quite fitness-conscious, apparently hasn't spent much time in the gym in over a month (by her own admission). One would've thought that if a deal was done, she'd be concentrating on that instead.
- Ms Angelo probably won't be at Clipsal, as she's currently recovering from an extensive orthodontic procedure. All the fanfare from late last year, appears to have died down. I suspect her mentor and sponsorship-getter in Mr Pither, may just be too busy sorting his own career out at the moment.
- GRM are said to be 90% of the way through deals for both cars. No drivers confirmed.
- Mr Hazelwood, while his deal is done, will be launching a new livery very soon.

I guess we'll know exactly who's who in the zoo, come Practice 1 at Clipsal.
...that was hard...

I can't edit posts after a certain period of time, so I guess I'll have to keep re-posting the list as new information comes to hand.

While some teams and drivers may have plenty of ambition to enter the series, there's not really enough evidence in my opinion to consider them even as a likely. For example, the girls. Both are working on deals, great. But nothing much out there linking them to teams besides rumor and hearsay.

Gracie has said that there may be an announcement in the next few days, "fingers crossed".
I'll guess that she might have something lined up for the Clipsal at least, either that or she is attending another music festival in a new dress.

Her face is still all over Speedcafe at least in relation to their Comment-of-the-Week-gets-free-Caltex. Wonder how long that promo was paid for?

She's still considering herself as a Caltex driver on her socials, so one might assume they're still on board.

Supercars launches Super2

while its a dVS thing, the relevant bit for this thread is

Quote:
Super2 teams have been invited to enter wildcards for the Winton, Barbagallo, Hidden Valley and Queensland Raceway championship events.
and this which will intesrt some

Quote:
“We are also working on the formative stages of a Supercars Academy that will further drive the pathway for young talent progressing towards Supercars.”

Hopefully this reflects more of the likes of those with talent and no money, and less of the likes that have money but no talent

Wild cards at two of the most distant and expensive venues to get to, so they don't really want the wild cards at all really.

DVS/Super2 has been no more a development series than it is privateers cup.

There's a very good reason any teams rarely step to the big league, it's because they're already strectching their budgets as it is to just do 7 events. I think we'll see a small grid for Bathurst, and no wildcards.

This is a great initiative by Supercars it gives some DVS teams/drivers a chance to test the Supercars water before they dive in at Bathurst etc or even 2018 likely we'll only see wild cards at Winton and Ipswich though the costs for transport will be too much for the other rounds. Only Likely teams we'll see are Eggleston, KBR, Image/Dragon and MW Motorsport

With Jack Smith starting his own Team (SCT Motor Sports Team) running an ex Prodrive Falcon
