Invincible should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Heroes & Villains

Menu an undoubted hero??????

Yes that's what it said in today's AUTOSPORT's Heroes & Villains section although I belive Alain is a top Touring-car driver results-wise he is no way a hero to the BTCC, I does doubt him over his collision with JP at Silverstone in 97 but still Menu is a villain to the BTCC

Your verdict?

And how exactly did they reach the conclusion that he deserved hero status??? Haven't read Autosport since my subscription finished back in April.

Villian if I ever saw one! He is especially whiny and cannot race fairly. Look at Silverstone 1998 when Tommy Rustad passed him (Rustad was guest driving for the works team for that race) Menu was all whiny and waving at him from inside the car . Somebody should tell him to grow up because he is not racing ponies!

Well, after seeing the first corner incident in the Lausitzring DTM race, I just knew Menu would be cast in the role of innocent victim this week. Sure enough,I learn from Autosport that Alain was pushed into a spin and believes the DTM drivers should all use their heads more. ARD's TV pictures were obviously misleading when they showed Menu running into Fassler ahead of him before spinning.

Although I have already posted Villain, I now feel that from '93 to '97, he was not really a 'nasty' driver. Possibly winning the title changed him....any thoughts.
