I can't believe people are still thinking A1 GP is happening.

I think the only way out is a new owner.

When I started a thread; A1GP - RIP ..... they closed it.

Perhaps I should ask why it was locked?

Wasn't me who locked it but at a guess because you post didn't include any new info on a topic that is already being covered, i.e. to avoid duplicate threads.

It's dead. The cars are in lock up covered in dust, Ferrari has control over the engines, all the races have been canceled so far, etc.

It's done and dusted.

Someone could take over the body and sprinkle $$$ on it to resurrect it.

Just that no one can access the body right now.

The FIA published a new version of the 2010 International Series calender yesterday (18 Dec.).
For A1GP it says:
- 14/03 : Interlagos (BRA)
- 21/03 : Mexico City
- 16/05 : Assen (NLD)
- TBA : Sachsenring (DEU)

That is interesting... Sachsenring?

That would be something to see if the series somehow was raised from the dead.

Edit: Oh, actually, meh... I was confusing it with the Salzburgring.

I agree, Look folks it's over, it's gone, it has demised, expired, it is no more, it has slip this mortal coil, it's and Ex series.

The best thing to do with the cars is poor petrol over them, set light to them and use them to keep OAP's warm over winter.

Gosh, there are some miserable bu***** on here!

If A1GP was stone cold dead/ no prospect at all of ressurrecting the series the Administrator for A1GPOL would have given up and put the matter into Liquidation. He hasn't.

Having a laugh...

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/80780

Especially "I've built my own cars and designed my own chassis. I have my own factory. So I'm not a customer boss. I can now build my chassis and run with a Ferrari engine. I'm now the same as everyone else."

The same except you've got no money nor credibility.

Maybe it would be nice if he paid all the money he owes before buying F1 teams.

Hopefully the creditors will continue to sue him for relief.

Perhaps if he bought into Campos he might come to Australia for the AGP?
Might find a queue of investigators, lawyers and baliffs wainting for him.
