Garry MacDonald will be driving for SER in Kanga Loaders colours.
Don't think Luff is eligible because he's inside the top 25 this year. |

Interestingly you have Luke Youlden at BJR. I have heard he is a possible enduro driver with either a Victorian Ford or Holden team though as it seems unlikely he will be with Ellery next year.

Mr Luff is a walk up start to a PCR Actron Air Falcon, with a freshly inked 2005 enduro deal at SBR in his pocket....

Not so sure about Mr McLean.. he seems to have been beaten to the punch in each of the main series deals he should have rightly beaten the other contenders for... so I am not sure there is still a space in V8Lites for him

Youlden would then need to or already have a 'Lites' drive lined up then.

I think the rules will be bent to allow Quality drivers to stay in the v8 series.
It would be wrong to bar a talented driver like Luff out of both v8 categories because he coudlnt land a drive in the top series for 2005. its a bit prejudice. |

Because they have seen this Season how silly the rules are.. Forcing a former Konica series winner to sit out a seasons racing because of the rules.
The drivers should be allowed to swap freely from series to series. |

Konica should be a feeder series for up and coming drivers, not a retirement fund for washed up ex-V8 drivers.

A big thing was made of Andy Jones perhaps having to do that, but now Mr Canto, running for Mr Howard's 888-supported operation (wonder if they get SBR engines too??) will be trying to defend a title he won a couple of seasons ago in Terry Steer's ex-GSR EL... |

Im glad you brought that up GTR...
In a lot of ways I agree with you ... but Dean is obviously not good enough or he would have a drive in the ain game so i guess after sitting out a season he has to go back to school and lears how to drive even faster. Some here are quick to point out his indiscretions at Bathurst which when all is said and done meant little to the teams results. Basically he was told to go as hard as he could as he had nothing to lose. So following team instructions means he looks like a mug to the average punter |

I thought the original intention of this series was to enable the privateers that used to run in the main series a series to compete basically on equal footing by controlling components therefore controlling cost.. Now with several level 1 teams fielding teams that seems to have gone out the window...
