Form what I read on Formula1.com, Bernd Pischetsrieder (SEAT) was spotted talking to Arrows team boss Tom Walkinshaw, on the Spanish GP weekend
People have suggested that SEAT is interested in supplying Arrows after the supertec is gone. The one thing I hope is that this is not going to turn into another half-assed project, simailar to Puegot. Any thoughts? |

For SEAT, read VW & I can't imagine they'd be so stupid to commit to F1 unless prepared to do it properly.
But wouldn't Jordan be a perfect partner? VW plan to use SEAT as the sporting marque, in the same way that FIAT use Alfa Romeo. SEAT's advertising seems to hinge on the idea of fun, enjoyment, youth appeal... Surely the rock n'roll Jordan team, with it's solid technical footing & excellent credentials would be ideal... |
