f1scanner should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
F1 Two-Seater Silverstone 2018

Does anyone know the identity of the drivers of the F1 two-seater cars at the weekend?

I'm particularly interested in the drivers on Sunday: I believe one was Patrick Friesacher, the second was Kevin <unknown>, the third I believe was Jenson Button.

TIA

We definitely identified JB's helmet as one of the three drivers on Sunday morning - I was on the marshal post right on top of the start of pit lane entry at Vale, so they were about 6 feet from me.

None of us could bingo the other two though, so I asked one of the online chat people on the F1 Experiences website.

The simply closed the chat. Delightful.

Thanks. Yes, they're not a very helpful bunch, are they (maybe they're a bit too busy fingering through all the 50 quid notes they've made).

I've since seen photos of JB online, and I know 100% that Friesacher was in another car. It's usually Baumgartner in one of them and last year he was joined by David Saleens. But I'm reliably informed it was someone called 'Kevin' in the 3rd - but Kevin who?

The other alternative that springs to mind is Kevin Ceccon.

I won't talk about my former life, my friend.
For that, there are history books...

I think the info I was given on 'Kevin' was a bit of bum steer.....or as Harry Enfield's character might have said, "it's not fair !"

From the sutton site it looks like it was JB, Patrick Zsolt after all (who now looks to be engaged in a full time training regime to be the next Hungarian Pie Eating champion)

http://www.*******************/previ...x=8&count=1155

However, a thread about fast Kevin's might prove more interesting....?

Zsolt Baumgartner (yellow helmet with Hungarian flag) and Patrick Friesacher (Red Bull helmet) are the regular drivers. Jenson Button was in the third car (second on the road) with Guy Martin (motorbike racer, not the chef) as his passenger on Sunday morning.

True. And Zsolt and Patrick are regulars since some years ago.
Mazzacane could be other driver for them, if he wasn't busy with his Turismo Carretera and ACTC commitments.
