2015 WTCC Race of Portugal
Preview:
http://www.fiawtcc.com/race-preview/ Track facts: http://www.fiawtcc.com/event/race-of-portugal-2015/ Entry list (no Manuel Pedro Fernandes, contrary to what TcT article said): http://www.fiawtcc.com/wp-content/up...entry-list.pdf Actually, it's second track I look forward most to see (after Nurburgring) - from what I've seen on Youtube, the track looks really spectacular. |

http://www.civr.pt/mapa-do-circuito/ Just hope that they will build it up to the FIA standarts and it won't look that silly as it was on Youtube videos. The Mateus corner will be reprofiled too |

During FP2 Ben Constanduros told one very interesting thing - a certain manufacturer, that has blue colour, secretly tested the car already and is on the way to join next year. Plus he wrote on twitter - "I tend to be cynical of paddock rumour - but I am pretty confident there'll some great news in the next few days for fans of @FIA_WTCC"

I think it's about time they allow more than 12 drivers in Q2 (make it 14). Not really happy with Ma ruining other drivers' laps and getting an easy pole for Race 2, seems quite unfair

More entertainment on twitter between Citroen and Coronel than there has been at the front of the pack this year..

Really?! I guess Tarquini and Coronel will be furious about this. I don't treat seriosly moaning about Citroen buying the championship and so on, but this is getting ridiculous with stewards being afraid to penalize a Citroen at most times |

This track is incredible.
Remove the two mickey mouse chicanes and it'll be even better. |

They should move that village chicane a bit futher and make a wider approach, which could make at least a bigger chance of an overtake. Though I think it might be better in Race 2. Nothing to expect on tight street circuit when cars run in team formations - 2 Citroens, then 3 Honda, then Citroen, the Ladas, then all the Chevys

The scheduling of the meeting seems quite poor, the cars have been in Parc Ferme for nearly 6 hours before repair time.

You can thank the Tour de France for that, although I would have also preferred WTCC from 6-8pm, because us Germans couldn't see race 1, as Eurosport Germany showed MotoGP at that time.

For me it was fine because it meant we could watch Moto GP and ELMS but i was thinking for the teams 6 hours of doing nothing is boring.
