The qualifying and support races are almost as interesting as the race itself! And the YouTube feed allows me to cast to my big TVs too.

It's that time of year. I just hope the rain doesn't spoil the race. Hopefully it will be another good one

An easy way is to subscribe to RLMs calendar; scroll to the bottom of their main page:http://www.radiolemans.co/
So for the East Coast of the US (per the RLM calendar and Maggo's layout above), i think this is about right (after an Edit or 2): Thu 30th January 16:40: Bathurst 12 Hour: Practice 1 20:20: Bathurst 12 Hour: Practice 2 23:05: Bathurst 12 Hour: Practice 3 Fri 31st January 16:40: Bathurst 12 Hour: Practice 4 20:40: Bathurst 12 Hour: Qualifying Sat 1st February 01:05: Bathurst 12 Hour: Top 10 Shootout 13:45: Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour Last edited by fieldodreams79; 29 Jan 2020 at 17:27. |

Very much looking forward to this.
I soooo wish it wasn't the week after Daytona. There's no way I could do both - too much long-haul flight - so going to one means missing the other. Purely selfishly I'd love it to be 3rd weekend of Feb, meaning Daytona, Bathurst and Sebring neatly spread out :-). |

I'm not sure if the Bathurst organizers really give a rip when the Daytona 24 is.
My curiosity sent me down a rabbit hole of schedules.... The 90s editions of the event were primarily run in late March, early April expect for one running in August. When the 12 hr event started back in the mid 00s, it was run in mid to early February, with it looking like the last 5 years or so being run on the first Sunday in February. Someone smarter than me can tell us why this particular weekend works. Part if it is likely being track / town availability and the off season for the Supercars, even though one year there was mandatory V8s testing (or some silly conflict) scheduled the same weekend. Looking forward to this afternoon! |

It is still the last few days of the school summer hols in much of Oz (Tassie, WA, half of NSW, and ACT) so much more opportunity for dads and lads to visit. Remember it's a day each way just to get there from most of the country.

Next year Daytona is likely to be 30/31 Jan and WEC are at Kyalami 6-7 Feb. I wonder if Bathurst will thus be the middle weekend of Feb to avoid actually clashing.
But back to this year...all night session planned for Sat night. Very much looking forward to it. |

Anyone know where the video feed for all of the Friday (today currently for those of us in Europe/America) practice sessions is located? I know audio seems to be on RLM.

Just FYI for anyone else IGTC Twitter states no video broadcasts today, just tomorrow and the race day. Radio Lemans has the audio.

I have watched video of the hillclimb event held at Mt Panorama late last year, and now that the GT cars are back I would be interested to see comparable split times for that part of the track. I imagine that the hillclimb cars (particularly the winning car) would be very quick. Does anyone have contacts in the teams that could give times based on the GPS position of the hillclimb start and finish?
