Rockingham track access question
Hi all
First of all let me introduce myself, I am Dave otherwise known as e30nerd. I have been following the Miltek BMW championship (formally SELOC BMW Championship) for the past couple of years. Whilst at the events I have been taking pictures for the chaps who race, these can be seen on my web site E30nerd under the racing section. My question is, does anyone have any contact information for the Rockingham circuit (UK not USA!) as they guys are racing there in a couple of weeks. In the past I have contacted MSV for Brands etc, however I am ideally after someone who deals with trackside press passes etc. Any assistance will be very gratefully received! |

The press officer at Rockingham is Jeff Carter IIRC.

Thanks Paul, if I can't get him on the phone I'll try the e-mail.
While on the subject has anyone got any recommendations for good photo points? they are running the international course. |

I'm running a 70 - 200mm f3.5 on a Nikon D70, so it is not the best zoom. I'm looking at swapping it in for an f2.8 of the same focal length, don’t think I can afford to run to a longer one!!
If I could get near the first curve off the start finish straight I hoping to be able to cover a lot of corners in a short space of time. All depends on the access! |

If you can get media accreditation the place you describe is probably the best space, you can get them through the chicane at T1, Tarzan, and the corner after the first hairpin, the name of which escapes me!
