Wonder if Mr Stanaway has been attending races with the team, being part of the setup conversations, keeping on top of how the team is going, generally being a team player?

Neck thing is clearly either a significant problem or a complete smoke screen but if he's been contributing to the team in a non-driver role, probably the former.

I wonder about this, as the input is only as good as the output.

One thing for sure, he can't slag off about it like he did with Tickford. Two car team, most experienced engineer in the field, GRM aren't going to mess around.

The sudden loss of speed could be down to the twin springs, but then again, with the most senior driver in the stable gone, who showed speed whilst his junior struggled to show the pace he had from Super2....Don't send a child to do a man's job....

if Boost takes over GRM like the jungle drums seem to say, will we have our next Craig Gore on our hands?

I don't think Mr Adderton has that kind of reputation.

I don't mean in the criminal sense, but the fly by night, burn everything down and not last very long sense.

I just don't know that I can see P. Adderton being the commercial brains and building a stable, quality team around him, he's too abrasive and thinks short term, and is too used to getting his own way.

I can see why Garry at this age would cash the cheque and run away but it isn't what I want to see for such a historic team.

Oh nice Article published by Supercars and the suggestion of JC would enjoy Partnering with Chaz. Nice backhander to his current partner in crime Scotty Pye.

What a rediculous thing to come out and say. If it was me choice I would be giving JC the arsk and keeping Scott Pye.

Or will we see people give in and buy Mustangs? Or will a threatened rule change in 2021 make people hold onto their wallets?

Another vote for Pye over Courtney.

Pye has been dicked about for years....yet continues to put his head down and get on with it as best he can. His full potential may never be shown with the roundabout he can't get off....I feel for the guy

Is anyone selling Mustangs?

I'd say they would be required to do their own work if they want one. Didn't Penske and Tickford fund most of the development themselves? I don't think they'd be keen to share

Tickford would sell them, as would DJRTP.

But nobody could ever make the Falcons go like DJRTP obiously did. The Mustang is a different animal though.

Penske and Tickford clearly didn't, Ford Motorsport US did.

Interesting comments on RPM yesterday about driver moves for 2020.

Mr Tander is of the opinion that Simona will be heading back to Europe, Courtney will be staying at Walkinshaw due to Mega Fuels, and Mostert is going to Walkinshaw.

Mr Caruso is of the opinion that Courtney is gone, Pye stays, Mostert is gone from Tickford.

Somebody mentioned that Mostert and Hazelwood would be a good fit at Walkinshaw.

Reckon Tander might be on the money. The loss of Courtney from Ryan's Instagram account would be too much to bear.

Overpaid, under-performing. He's gone for sure.

Pye represents much better value-for-money, by comparison.

Its true, but it seems whenever a team has needed to jettison a driver from the team, Scott Pye has been the one to go.

Would you guess Courtney could end up at Boost Racing?
