fatbloke should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Will Hoy has given the proposed new 2001 BTCC formula a thumbs up after competing in Class B at Silverstone last weekend. "If this is the basis for next year, then with another 40bhp, a sequential box and wider tyres, you'll have a ball", he was quoted as saying.

Looking for a drive next term, Will ?

I think so, but I think we need some of the classic drivers back again that just want to go out and have some fun, that would make it even better. Cleland, Warwick (after 98) for a start and I also think people like Jeff Allum and Steve Soper would come back...

Cleland is more than likely gonna surface in Germany in 2001, Jeff Allam is probably dead by now, Soper has said he never wants to return to touring cars, and Warwick is unlikely to be invited back as he was single handedly responsible for the huge budget increases in recent years...

I think we're more likely to see more of the like of Lionel Blair before we see any of the 'good ol boys' returning

You'll probably find Soper will pop up at Goodwood, he generally seem to.

Who's driving the safety car this year? It was Jeff Allam last year wasn't it?
