Pro Racer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
on the Murph forum a couple of people saud Murph said at his signing session that he will be at SBR replacing Courtney, now i hope he was taking the **** and they misinterpreted it or they are BSing, GTR can you put this rumour to bed?

why would SBR take Murph when they have Webb, Thompson etc who are young guns and Murphs resaults don't scream pick me, i hope he stays red and Tasman can htfu and give him a winning car.

Pro Racer, I think that's just Murph trying to get some attention and hopes the right people will listen.

Think about it, the only time they pay him any attention is when he's either having a crap weekend, there racing in NZ or at Bathurst. I very much doubt the Stone Bro's would go for someone of that age again after the Ingall experience. Not to say that Russell didn't go anywhere, but I'd rather say they'd like an up and coming rising star instead.

Murph ? SBR ?

They would be better off with Matthew Neal...

SBR i reckon need a name player to head their line-up - given they are now a 'factory' team. Thompson or Webb might have a budget but i think Ford would demand more commercially from SBR.

"TKR/TKR"??

Where is Mr John going to get an 'in-house' chassis building operation from? (and who is going to pay for it?)

Given the poor form of some of the drivers on the list (e.g. crashes) and the fact that SJ hasn't really done anything wrong this year I'd be disappointed if he didn't have a drive next year.

He's talking about Steve Johnson (SJ stands for Steve Johnson), who hasn't done anything spectacular this year. Funny that he blames his car all year and then gets out qualifyed in the 18 car by Steve Owen in his own car! That must have hurt!

Meanwhile, Dick Johnson is confident his star driver Will Davison (third at Phillip Island with Steve Johnson) will remain at DJR next year.

"I expect him to be with us in 2009," Johnson said. "He has a contract with us so that should be that." Davison has been linked with moves to Stone Brothers or even jumping to a Holden squad.

drift king should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I can't see Ford allowing SBR to put a pay driver in the car, given that they are now one of the two factory supported teams. Actuall, I can't imagine SBR wanting to run someone like Webb, unless they were really desperate for $$. And we don't know if that is the case yet. Jonathan Webb is ok but he will never really be good enough to run at the front.

He has a contract with DJR which ends at the end of 08! So I don't know what old Dick is talking about.

What job would that be that he is getting done?
He's done a good job at getting his ass kicked all year!

Stevey J is definatly not a world beater but he isn't **** house, he is solid. if i had a team he would definatly be in consideration for the 2nd seat. he is experienced gets the job done and alongside a superstar like Will it's a great combo, with Stevey J there backing up doing his job there is no chance of an ego clash.
