Dallara Reduces Parts Cost To The IRL
Well, Dallara, the chassis manufacturer of the IndyCar Series will reduce the cost of parts they supply to them by 8-20% starting next year. The prices will be effective in January 2009. This price drop is to help teams through this tough economic time.
This new price reduction could save IndyCar teams 11% in parts costs. The IRL hopes other suppliers of parts for the league will follow suit. This is great news for the IRL and it shows that Dallara is committed to them for the long haul. |

It's actually due to the fall in the Euro against the Dollar. Not any charity on the part of Dallara.

Well, they could have kept their advantage anyways, so well done to them; Indycar confirm their low cost attitude, which is good
