2009 Le Mans Pole and Result Prediction Comp - Results Posted
We've come up fast on predictions competition time again here now in our LM24 subforum! I've posted this here instead of in the Predictions sub-forum so that it can gain maximum exposure to all of the Tenths' Le Mans addicts - for the time being, at least.

I've taken the liberty of assuming that my fellow moderators will again indulge me and with the help of PascaLM, it's time to get the 2009 predictions show on the road. If you entered last year, the format and explanations are exactly the same!

To avoid duplicating too much the other predictions competitions, as last year there will be just one predictions thread in which you’re invited to record your answers to the following:-

1. Overall pole position – car # and time – to nearest thousandth

e.g.

PEUGEOT #8 - 3:27.143

2. Overall winner, second and third – car #'s and laps completed by the winner only

e.g.

1. Aston Martin #007 – 383 laps
2. Peugeot #9
3. Pescarolo #16

3. First retirement – just the car #

e.g.

Audi #1

And that’s it. In order to establish the overall winner we will apply a similar (but perhaps slightly tweaked) ‘weighting’ system as in 2008.

But there are still some rules.

1. No surplus comments, no funnies, no additions – just your predictions. We will remove anything else that you add!
2. No amendments are permitted unless you can satisfy one of us that you made a genuine mistake.
3. Any queries about the competition to myself and Pascal by PM please.
4. The thread will close at 9 am on 10th June. (amended)
5. If any of your selections is withdrawn BEFORE the cut-off date/time, you will be allowed to provide an alternative.

We had a grand total of 60 entries last year with a winner in the form of cptkablamo. It would be great to beat that number this year.

So, the comp is now open - predict away!
