Finally Ash wins, good to see. This is Cammish's title to lose now. But in such circumstances... well I wouldn't want to win it that way.

Noticed both David Addison and Tim Harvey alluding that today will likely be the last time the Subarus will be on the BTCC grid. Bet someone still keeps the MG6s on for 2020 though. Those cars will never die.
Utter joke of an interview from Neal just now, nearly 30 years in this championship and he still hasn't learnt proper racecraft. |

Neal is such a ********. No skill, no class, no racecraft. The worst champion the series has ever had.

Turks really is a class act. Clearly the angriest I've ever seen him in an interview, yet still professional and restrained.

Proctor on pole for R3, followed by Jelley and Butcher. Incidentally, Butcher wins JST, AmD win Indy Teams, and Butcher will win Indy Drivers if he finishes ahead of Cook. No Jack Goff for R3. |

Matt Neal is an utter disgrace. Even Plato wouldn't stoop that low. What a grade a classless cock.

It would be a shame if Neal's 'questionable' move takes away from what would be, in my opinion at least, a deserved championship for Cammish. He can't be held responsible for the actions of his teammate.
There could still be twists and turns to come. But if Toca think that Neal was at fault for the move on Turkington then banning him from the final round could be an acceptable outcome. |

Drivers like Plato, Sutton, Reid, Cleland are/were all hard racers and sometimes someone ended up in the gravel trap when their tussles with someone care to a head, but none of the repeatedly punted other drivers off the track purposely. And let’s not forget the conclusion to 2007 when he purposely held Plato up to help Vauxhall/888 as he’d signed for them for 2008, not to mention countless other incidents he’s been involved in. But he drives a black and orange Honda, so he’s untouchable in the KwikFit Teflon Halfords Yuasa British Touring Car Championship in association with Alan Gow-Steve Neal Enterprises.... |

The Carlin #31 streak is still alive. Quite remarkable really. Good to see.

Most entertaining part of today has been watching the driver of the Cayenne medical car plying their craft. Talk about ragging it!

On the Neal/ Turks bump I'm probably in a minority but Colin should have been more careful. On the outsude with a hard as nails guy on the inside. Like JP and Ash at Snett.
Obviously Matt to blame. |

" PENALTY: Matt Neal has been officially reprimanded and penalised by means of a five-place grid penalty for Round 30 for an incident involving Colin Turkington. His licence has also been endorsed by the addition of three penalty points. "

Missed the end of that race, but unfortunately it seems Turks was unable to recover.
What's the reverse grid for R3? |

What makes it worse is that if it were somebody else did that to Matt his old man Steve would have been down the TOCA bus spitting venom demanding death by stoning before you could say "oh dear".

Neal is 100% in the wrong and deserves a penalty (one worse than that silly 5 grid drop), but Turks racecraft was unusually poor at that moment. Let Neal go. Deal with them later. |
