RaceTime should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Sandown State Race Meeting looking dodgy

Yesterday afternoon, Thursday, the State Race Champonship meeting scheduled for Sandown Raceway in Melbourne was suddenly cancelled due to the revokation of the track licence by CAMS track inspector, Bruce KEYS.

Major work is, apparently, being undertaken at the track, in part by Racing Victoria, and, accoding to sources, Keys did not like the way the track was left and works were being carried out on it. He immediately pulled the track licence for Sandown UFN.

Late this afternoon, Friday, around 5pm, Racing Victoria reportedly agreed to work over the weekend to try and rectify the situation so that next weekends State Race Meeting can take place.

In order for this to happen, Racing Victoria apparently have to shift substantial mountains to make molehills out of them in order for Keys to carry out another track inspection, most likely on Monday, when a final decision will be made as to reinstating Sandowns track licence.

If Keys does not reinstate the licence, the Sandown round of the Vic SRS will be cancelled - it will NOT be moved accoding to Race Secretary, David Floyd, this evening. David said that whilst there had been some moved by a 'few people' to move the event to Calder, this option was not a viable one and would not take place.

He is, however, highly optimistic that the licence will be reinstated.

Bloody hell, that seems a bit drastic, pulling the licence at the 11th hour! What ended up happening?
