Series auto parts supplier Advance, oh and now it's the Advance Auto checkered flag so that's dumb. And this bit is funny:

"Along with the flag carrying Advance’s name, race-winning IndyCar drivers will have a new incentive to “strategically use ‘advance’ as a verb in their post-race interviews. Advance will gift winning drivers a cash prize to be donated to a charity of their choosing.”"

IndyCar is getting greener, as Shell will be supplying the series with 100% renewable race fuel, which they tested at The Thermal Club open test on Feb 2-3. It is derived from the waste portion of sugarcane and sourced from Brazil.

Would be amazing to see. Like most things, I think the series is just waiting on the proper "partner" on this to take the costs.

I hope that they can come up with a better layout for the track. The race seems to have the support of the city and has been well attended. It's in an area that is not traditionally Indycar territory. Wondering what other venues might be possible in the mid-south/SE?
