No. With that amount of rake it's got to be a 7 litre.

Could be a market for them. Would fit in the CSCC modsports/saloons and Bernie's V8s.

I hope it's dryer and less windy there on Sunday than it was today. I gave up and came home before the last two races.

Just to note that the CTCRC are at Silverstone with the BARC this weekend and Sunday's racing is also being streamed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-PD-zdkLVs
I was hoping to go, but the predicted cold and northerly breeze with no shelter has put me off so I may go to Snetterton again or just have a day in the warmth doing some bicycle fettling.

I think you made the right decision, I watched a couple of the races on YouTube and I counted 6 spectators at Luffield braving the elements. Even with fine weather Sillystone is a cold, soulless venue with dreadful viewing opportunities.

Im sure most are aware of the newly released doco ‘Villeneuve Pironi: Racing’s Untold Tragedy’.... I know it is or was shown on Sky last week. Its a full length movie. just over an hour and a half.

Anyway for those without that (Sky) luxury it is now on youtube, I dont know how long it will remain on for so get in quick if you want to watch it.

I have watched it and thoroughly enjoyed and recommend it. Lots of period / pre F1 footage and with both sides explained.... with family bias of course. Lots of lumps in throat moments.

I knew Pironi's wife gave birth to twins just after Didier's death in 1987 , naming them Gilles and Didier.... I wasnt aware that Gilles Pironi worked / works for Mercedes F1 and was on the podium to collect the constructors race trophy at Silverstone in 2020.

Anyway the YT link. https://youtu.be/lr66HApuhXI

Wow! EB, thanks for the link. As a non-Sky user, I wasn't even aware of this film's existence and would not have been able to see it had you not brought it up here.

Having just watched it (thought I'd better get in there quick before some jobsworth pulls it!) I have to say it was thoroughly enjoyable and informative. I learnt some stuff I wasn't aware of previously too.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet and doesn't have Sky, I'd recommend a viewing ASAP. He who hesitates...
