The Kelly's are doing something right even if they are not winning a lot of races. They seem to be able to bring on new sponsors and keep them. GRM by comparison had Valvoline and then pinched Wilson's.
And I don't know how all the legal stuff looked to a manufacturer either.

To be fair, 80% of the teams have had Wilson on their car at some stage....

....which does nothing to disprove my point.
GRM had Scotty Mac and the Volvo and couldn't bring anybody new to the sport.

It was a tongue in cheek comment. More directed at Wilson who are happy to move around instead of building a relationship.
Not trying to be a smartass, but who are the new sponsors the Kelly's bought in? Castrol and Jack Daniels are/were ex Perkins, Carsales was Craig Harris, Harvey Norman already existed with SDS. Norton came with Moffat.
Stratco, but they were pre Nissan.

They have had plenty of interesting names over the duration, not only in naming rights, Steadfast is one very good one, and Sengled they had on a whole car.
They also got Red Rooster into the sport, and any FMCG is a big deal.
I think they learnt how to do the B2B thing from the time in HRT.

Steadfast Insurance Brokers is a listed business and is run by someone with the last name & lineage as the father who owned the RECs...

Will Mr McLaughlin be at DJRTP, or will he be IndyCar/Sportscar/NASCAR in the US?

Guess it depends on if Kia want sponsors or results.

I see Robert Kelly but do you know that they are related?
You saying Uncle?
Anyway, nobody gave a **** when Paul Morris was making money to put on the side of his racecar, hell, if you are smart enough to make enough money to do it, why not?
I'm actually a Steadfast customer too.

And Pepsi in the Holden Kelly era, until FPR poached them, which seems to be FPR's sponsor procurement process, all the while driving the price down.
That hasn't gone well for them with 2019 seeing Tickford (FPR) bring 23Red into the Tickford shed, having given one for their entries back.
Maybe Tickford should consider a name change to Team AFRICA - Another F-ing REC I Can't Afford

Well don't forget that before finding refuge with the Kelly's they were went to be run out of FPR with Courtney driving, under the ownership of Mr Forklift.
FPR were definitely the worst, Trading Post one of the obvious examples.
