Richard B should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
British F3 Snetterton

Being a Bank Holiday the meeting is Sunday and Monday, perfect to join in the traffic jams of people heading back from Great Yarmouth!.

Could this be the last time British F3 goes to Snet' for a while?

It could well be. Shame in a way, because although the circuit's nothing special the staff are very friendly and welcoming. But they don't fix the fees.

Meanwhile, here's a preview.

It's worth emphasising that this is a Sunday/Monday race meeting, although there are supposed to be some some practice sessions on the Saturday.

TSL don't seem to have any information yet about timing, but this is is the page where you start the hunt.

Wear a coat, the weather forecast doesn't look good and there isn't much shelter. On a positive note viewing is quite good, especially at the chicance just before the finish line. Food and beer are reasonably priced.

Jean-Eric Vergne has won Race 1, but it was by no means a straightforward affair. Report. The results will be added later.

Gabriel Dias won the partly-reversed grid race 2 at Snetterton. This was a change because the previous ten races had been won by Carlin!

However, Carlin were back on top in the feature race 3, except that this time it was Adriano Buzaid who took the honours ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne and James Calado.

Is Vergne on for the most wins in a season? Although with 3 races a weekend, can this be fairly compared to previous years?

He has 13 wins and needs 15 to beat Jan Magnussen's record. There are now just 3 races to go. Before Snetterton I'd have said it was probable, but now only possible.

However, as someone has already pointed out, Jan's 14 wins came from just 18 races, so really there is no comparison.

Basically the F3 teams are unhappy with the arrangement of the Oulton meeting (comprising Easter Saturday and Monday, with no running on Sunday due to the restrictions that the long standing restrictions that the circuit operates on) and the increased costs associated with the meeting. However, MSV has stated that if the series drops Oulton from the calendar, they will no longer make Brands and Snetterton available.

Thanks for that. That would be a real shame. To lose 3 of the best circuits (I know a lot of people don't rate Snett but I think it's a great little circuit & very fast) would leave a gaping hole in the calendar.
