New Year Rallycross Masters @ Lydden
Just had a Facebook invite to "New Years Rallycross Masters" at Lydden Hill on Monday 3rd January.
I'm pretty sure this date was the original date for the LHMC Winter Rallycross, so I wonder if this is the Winter Rallycross rebranded or perhaps something bigger?... ...and one have any info? |

Very odd. The Facebook group is here:

Unsurprisingly (It was a just over a week before the Autosport show and a couple of days after the office at lydden reopened), the date has now vanished from the lydden website.
There is now a new date of 12th February up, but that clashes with what is set to be a rather good rally at Goodwood circuit... Looks like another year without finding a reason to go to rallycross... |

You are probably right about it being because LHMC/British Rallycross have a stand again at the Autosport Show.
Also the cars that are not at the Autosport Show will still be being prepared/repaired for the 2011 season so the 12th Feb is more likely to have a greater entry as it will enable the cars to be tested prior to the start of the season. |

Having crawled over hot coals to extend my new year break so that I could attend in January I can tell you that I'm well chuffed.
Oh well roll on the 30th Jan at Brands. |
