Bit of a wild quali session.
Mr Mostert wasn't mucking about, either. I wonder how he'll do in the race. |

http://www.speedcafe.com/2013/05/04/...e-djr-revival/ The new deal sees Mostert and his FPR-employed engineer Adam De Borre complete post-session debriefs with FPR’s four drivers and crack engineering staff. Seems he isn't getting the same love from the FPR garage as Mostert. I reckon David Reynolds should be starting to worry if his lack of form continues while Mostert shines. |

DJR can't deal with bent steering in a 15 minute period? Really? Run out of cash for spanners, nuts and steering arms?

Mega mega shunt by Mr Pye!
He could easily have dug in and donf a Mr Fabulous at Bathurst a couple of years ago! Trouble with spatial awareness, of how wide his car is? |

Mostert should learn pretty quick. Did good in 2nd half with bent steering arm.
Scott Pye, unbelievably lucky. |

I know they have introduced a 'lucky dog' and so on for anyone at lap behind at the end of the first 'segment' of the Saturday race today...
...but does anyone else find it ridiculous that drivers like Will Davison who only run 49 laps in today's combined 'race' can be classified ahead of drivers who completed the full 50 lap distance? If Tim Blanchard hard lost a lap at Symmons due to a puncture, would the rule have even been changed? |

Umm no don't see it a problem, that's how the lucky dog pass worked.

I thought Will did an extra lap after the first segment. I seem to recall one of the commentators mentioning it as he pulled into the puts some time after everyone else.

My point is that the whole two segments are treated as the one race.... under race conditions Will Davison as an example only did 49 laps, while others classified behind him at the end did the full 50 laps... |
