Lynk & Co doing something funky with air through the wing mirrors.

And yet everyone are slower then Tassi's time he set during last year TCR Europe event. And then Civic raced with 97.5% of power and now they are at 100.

I don't see need for that kind of comments since it's only a test, everyone are hiding their performances

Does anyone know why link cars have the number 62 beside the drivers number?

Maybe because that was the number Bjork had when he took WTCC title for Polestar Cyan?

Juntos is a back marker

I can't understand how a factory backed Hyundai team had only 2 of its 4 drivers today.

Certainly more than they would get with one make racing. They should stay while they can
They quit already with Dakar (and WRX).

You are a new and unknown brand. Why putting large Cyan logos on the car instead of Lynk & Co logos? I really don't understand.

Yep. I wondered this and tweeted them to find out...

Begs the question, why #62 that year?!

Two reasons why it is isn't... https://www.touringcartimes.com/2019...ng-car-season/

One, it's on Eurosport, so they'll either be ads in the middle of the races and/or not every race will be shown.

Two, BoP will continue to be the main talking point, not the racing.

I'm really looking forward to the season, the line-up is amazing, hats off. But, ultimate touring car season? I don't think so.

Don't worry, I've heard rumours the BBC will pick it up if they get a British race

Agreed, I was massively excited for this series last year but my interest waned after the first couple of rounds. A lot of the circuits are just not suited to good touring car racing and the BOP just seems to be all over place. Wouldn't it be easier to just make adjustments to a couple of things rather than messing around with ride height etc.

I don't get how the BTCC gets derided from some motorsport journalists yet this series is being touted as the greatest thing to ever happen to motorsport? I really wanted to enjoy this last year, but just couldn't.

The tv coverage is fairly awful as well to be fair when compared to what we get with ITV 4 in the UK. There is no injection of excitement with the commentary and I remember being surprised last year when I heard a TCR car in the flesh. They sound so quiet on TV, when compared with NGTC cars but when trackside I wouldn't say there was much difference.

Could be as simple as a ventilation intake, I remember Aston did this back in the days as well with the DBR9.

the series promoter is eurosport. they are the ones that own and have invested in the series, so they are hardly likely to broadcast it on a directly competing mainstream tv channel which would almost wipeout any eurosport audience in the uk

Ha! Well I stand corrected

Why the sudden Motorsport push from the BBC, first formula E and now this. Trying to tackle ITV with their BTCC coverage I imagine

If they really want to grow it they'll need to get it on a "proper" channel rather than the red button.

It amazed me how much the FE viewing figures went up when they showed a race on BBC2. I really don't understand why people find it so hard to use the red button services but going by comments on social media and forums over FE many do.
