I totally agree with your last post, perhaps because my position on Audi is much like yours (bolstered by my worshiping of Allan McNish). I would suggests a reason for the cock-up may actually have been due to having as many people milling about the garage as they do. I wonder whether person A thought person B was taking care of the nose weight, person B thought person C was, and person C thought person A was. At Intersport, there only is person A!
