Alan Crook should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
HSCC International Trophy 19th & 20th May Silverstone

There are over 450 entries for the HSCC International Trophy meeting being held on the historic GP circuit on 19th & 20th May at Silverstone.

Looks like there will be a shortage of marshals as DTM are at Brands, Superstars at Donington and BARC are running a meeting at Rockingham.

Anyone who has not yet volunteered and who would like to come along PM either myself or Fay, contact HSCC or Silverstone ES.

Being stupid, what's left of the 'historic' circuit(s)? Isn't Abbey 'nondrivable' now?

This just means they miss the tight turn at Vale into Club and use the eased version.

That's the one. Apparently Syd misses being able to do the same at Abbey.

Already down for both days for this one, looking forward to it. Hoping the weather is good as hoping to camp for the weekend.

I'll be there Sunday. Looks a great timetable & entry list, as is the norm for HSCC!

I'm there both days, not quite sure if I'm on flags or the bank just yet though. Suspect it'll be the bank if we are low on numbers. Hope to see some of you up there.

Can someone PM me Fay's contact details. I've PM'ed her to say I can come on Sunday but haven't had a reply. Don't think she's been on the forum for a while. Ta.

Unfortunately I have a sprained ankle... was looking forward to this one too.

Hopefully should be back in business for the Blancpain.

good first day at Maggotts as soon as the track dried out enough! Good crew and some nice neighbours too.

As usual with "real" drivers we got plenty of waves - especially from those helped back onto track .....

Thanks for some excellent marshalling! I spun off in the first qualifying session at Beckets / Maggots well and truly beached in the gravel - I thought it was all over but got snatched back on and at least set a time that gave me a chance.

Had a super race (hope Marshall's and spectators enjoyed it as much as I did) against Morgan, Merc SL and Porsche 928 - and managed to pull off a win!

So thanks to all of you for keeping things running as we all gyrated off - much appreciated!

Just sorry I couldn't make it. Don't like letting you down, but, unfortunately theses days, work has to come first!

Glad you all enjoyed it.

Paul,
I have few nice shots of you and Richard P 'having at it', let me know if you would like copies, Richard will vouch for the brilliance of my photographic wizardry.

Good day's racing today. Not much going on at Abbey Pit Exit (we left all the work to Village!!) but a great view of the racing. Ridiculously cold for this time of year though......

Had a good day on Club Out - my first ever time on the GP circuit - eventually got the hang of the radio though I had a giggle when race control said they couldn't hear me because of the noise from the cars...
