According to sources heard by the Macau Daily Times, a decision has already been made. The 2019 Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix and FIA F3 World Cup, to be held in Macau between November 17 and 19 this year, will present the same cars debuting this year at the FIA Formula 3 Championship.
Just wonder if this is a fake news, because this year's Grand Prix will be held from November 14 to 17, not 17 to 19.

Fake news as the decision will come out of the next FIA World Council. Perhaps the paper predicts the future.

Like the FIA is going to turn away their own series, not to mentions their end of year jaunt in Macau/HK.

The first meeting for the FIA World Motorsport Council will be held at March 7 (just two days away), let's see if there any news about it.

The FIA WMSC only confirmed the F3 World Cup will be continued this year, but no further details are being released

Seems FIA has been very cautious.

Annoys me that effectively this is just GP3 with a few changes and yet the organisers and media are trying to sell it as this amazing new series that’s all new. To me it feels like they are insulting my intelligence.

MACAU GP CONFIRMS INTERNATIONAL SERIES CARS WILL RACE

Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee (MGPOC) has now confirmed that the 66th Macau Grand Prix to be held this November will use the cars debuting this year at the FIA Formula 3 Championship (International Series). The announcement was made during a press conference for the annual sporting event yesterday afternoon.

Regarding the entrants’ list, Chong expects most of the teams and drivers currently participating in this championship “will come to Macau to compete in the FIA F3 World Cup.”

Coordinator of the MGPOC, Pun Weng Kun, said they will make some changes to the circuit, following the indication of the International Automobile Federation (FIA). Questioned as to what changes would be made, Pun did not reply clearly, saying only that the changes were imposed by the FIA and were concerned with adding safety features to all participants from the several competitions.

Exactly as I predicted, Macau is taking the best drivers and teams from the championship and else where and keeping the World Cup title.

What did we all have to learn? People are all over the world telling their one dramatic story and how their life has turned into getting over this one event. Now their lives are more about the past than their future.

The Macau GP organiser should consider to put Macau into the FIA F3 Championship calendar in 2020...

They don't want it because FIA F3 is not a World Championship. They prefer the World Cup title which is easier to sell to sponsors and visitors. They also have WTCR and GT World Cup so together they call the event the Triple World Cup (or something like that.)

They never called it so. If you have an acid tongue, then I suggest that you start drinking plenty of water.

In every way that counted, the FIA F3 cars needed "to be free" from the Liberty "big hand" to be allowed to race in Macau this time. Life is still life, but its fruit is sorrow.

They do that in the Chinese media at least. "3 Big World Races" is what they call it literally.

The media can write whatever they want, but it doesn't mean the Macau GP does. We all know you've an unsolved case with Macau GP. Looking forward to reading your next "bashfully" posts.

The media writes whatever the organizers' PR people feed them. The text is clearly copied from this: https://www.macau.grandprix.gov.mo/z...ews/event/1384

I don't have "unsolved case" with Macau GP. I am not a detective.

I just think the entire event is not as good as it once was.

You've today three FIA World Cup races and one top-class motorbike race. When did you have better than that?

Update: The Ticket Reservation for this year's Macau GP begins. If you already planning to attend, you can make a online reservation. The ticket price for the Main Grandstand and Lisboa Grandstand on race days will be adjusted to MOP600 and MOP1000 respectively.

FIA issued a statement about the latest WMSC meeting on June 14, before Le Mans, it mentioned that WMSC have approved the sporting regulation for this year's F3 World Cup, and it is available on FIA's website, but I did not find it.

FIA already published the sporting regulations for this year's FIA GT World Cup, that was also approved during the last WMSC meeting, but not in F3.

I may know why FIA did not publish the rules as the F3 race is still yet open the application process, as the application period for GT World Cup will start on 25th June. Last year, they publish the rules on September while they also accept application around the same month.
